Some of you might have noticed that I haven't been active in more than half a year. Don't worry, everything is alright, Toby is happy and healthy, I was just busy and neglected my blog. But I have good news: we (actually my boyfriend more than me) spent some time in designing a brand new Corgi website.
It is more than a blog; it is a place where you can read articles about the most awesome breed (Corgi, duh!). I still write about Toby on the new website, in case you miss him :) and I've added an extra feature where Corgi owners can submit their Corgis to be featured on the website.
You can find us at CorgiDogs.org (let me know what you think of the design) and you can also like our new facebook page here.
Thank you!

Here I am, finally
I know, shame on me :) I won't look for excuses..because, mainly, I was just lazy. The last post is from November, but not a lot has happened since them.
First, there was Thanksgiving. It went away quickly, and we forgot to take any pics. Then came Christmas and and the crazy days right before Christmas, that we spent cleaning the house and cooking.
We were lucky enough to have snow around Christmas, and Toby happily took advantage of it. He absolutely loves (or should I say adores?) snow. If we would let him, he could spend days out in the snow.
New Year's Eve was ok, too. We had guests, which made Toby very happy. He always thinks that all of our guest are his playmates :) January 2011 was here and we had no idea what bad weather was ahead of us. I'm talking, of course, about the Blizzard.
Never before in my life have I witnessed such weather, with snow blowing from every direction, with thunders & lightnings; and probably the worst part of the 2011 blizzard was taking Toby outside to potty. Scary! But of course it didn't seem to bother my boy. All he could see was S-N-O-W. :)
The morning after was when the "fun" actually began: we had to shovel all that snow out of our way :) Here is what our car looked like in the morning:
And here is Toby loving every minute of it:
Right now, we're waiting for spring to come (please, hurry!). Toby's Birthday is coming, too. On the 23rd. Our boy will be 2. Can't believe it.. I'll have to buy presents :)
Also, I've been wanting to switch him to another brand of food. Any thoughts on this? I want something good, as close to natural as can be. ( He's on Nutro's Natural Choice now).
I'm off for now, with the promise that I won't stay away for so long this time :)

It's so hard to take a good picture of a constantly moving corgi :) |

As always, not a happy camper when it comes to wearing outfits. |

Toby loves the snow!
Now that the cold weather is here, we're waiting for the first snow... Last year it was Toby's 1st winter and he really enjoyed it, as you can see in the video.
We're hoping that he'll have a good time this year, too. We're also hoping that we'll have a short winter :)
